Job Description

Our client, a publicly traded and media company located in Bala Cynwyd is seeking to add a Payroll Analyst to their team! Responsibilities

Duties: 

  • Work in conjunction with the Payroll Manager and other leaders to serve as point person for payroll analysis
  • Analyze pay transactions
  • Estimate the impact of the payout company wide
  • Confirm calculations of transactions were accurate and in compliance 
  • Reconcile year-end payroll activity within payroll general ledger
  • Capture data and make recommendations based on data analytics to be used  for creation of company’s  annual compensation budget 
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, legal and finance policies and best practices
  • Perform financial compensation modeling and analysis
  • Update payroll/.human resources records to enable accurate and correct calculation of employee withholding and other elections
  • Analyze overall current payroll processes and make general recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Bachelor’s preferred, Associates with ample experience considered in lieu
  • Experience with complex electronic payroll processing systems
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Tax filing experience plus ability to research and analyze payroll tax matters.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and procedures

Compensation and Benefits

50,000-60,000
